Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM54 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRIM54 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher TRIM54 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

LSCC and HNSC are the cancer types where TRIM54 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
