Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRIM29 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRIM29 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TRIM29 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRIM29 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SARC and THCA show a favorable association.

LUAD, SKCM, and KIRC are the cancer types where TRIM29 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
