Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRH Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRH data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TRH Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD and SKCM are the cancer types where TRH Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
