Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRGV8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRGV8 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher TRGV8 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRGV8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG and SARC are the cancer types where TRGV8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
