Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TREML4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TREML4 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TREML4 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TREML4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, LIHC, and STAD are the cancer types where TREML4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
