Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TREML3P RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TREML3P data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TREML3P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TREML3P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and CHOL show a favorable association.
KIRC, STAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where TREML3P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
