Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRDMT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRDMT1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TRDMT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRDMT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, PRAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where TRDMT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
