Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRDJ4 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TRDJ4’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where TRDJ4 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TRDJ4 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
UCEC, KIRC, and LUSC are the cancer types where TRDJ4 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
