Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRBV12-4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRBV12-4 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRBV12-4 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRBV12-4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CESC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CESC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TRBV12-4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
