Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAV8-6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRAV8-6 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TRAV8-6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAV8-6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where TRAV8-6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
