Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAV6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRAV6 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TRAV6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAV6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC are the cancer types where TRAV6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
