Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAV26-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRAV26-1 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TRAV26-1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAV26-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and HNSC show a favorable association.

SKCM, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where TRAV26-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
