Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAV1-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRAV1-2 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TRAV1-2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAV1-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and HNSC show a favorable association.

SKCM, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TRAV1-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
