Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAJ13 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TRAJ13’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where TRAJ13 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TRAJ13 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

STAD, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where TRAJ13 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
