Across TCGA patient cohorts, TRAF1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,880 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TRAF1-associated genes across cancer lineages are IL21R, RASAL3, and ARHGAP9. Each is linked with TRAF1 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TRAF1-to-partner and partner-to-TRAF1 results are reported.
