Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRAC data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TRAC Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, COAD, and CESC are the cancer types where TRAC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
