Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRA2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TRA2B data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher TRA2B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRA2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
OV, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where TRA2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
