Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TPST1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TPST1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TPST1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TPST1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where TPST1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
