Across TCGA patient cohorts, TPMT protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,535 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TPMT-associated genes across cancer lineages are KIF13A, KDM1B, and RIPK1. Each is linked with TPMT in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TPMT-to-partner and partner-to-TPMT results are reported.
