Across TCGA patient cohorts, TPM1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,209 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TPM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYL9, ACTA2, and DCN. Each is linked with TPM1 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TPM1-to-partner and partner-to-TPM1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, TPM1 versus MYL9 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.58.
