Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TPK1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TPK1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher TPK1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TPK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where TPK1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
