Across TCGA patient cohorts, TPBGL protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 120 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TPBGL-associated genes across cancer lineages are CRYAB, PRKAB1, and CR2. Each is linked with TPBGL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TPBGL-to-partner and partner-to-TPBGL results are reported.
