Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOX2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOX2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher TOX2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.

GBM, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where TOX2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
