Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOR1B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOR1B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TOR1B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOR1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TOR1B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
