Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOR1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOR1A data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TOR1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOR1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TOR1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
