Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOR1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOR1A data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TOR1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOR1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

COAD, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where TOR1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
