Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOP3B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOP3B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TOP3B mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOP3B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LUAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where TOP3B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
