Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOP2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOP2B data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TOP2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOP2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where TOP2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
