Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOP2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOP2B data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TOP2B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOP2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where TOP2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
