Across TCGA patient cohorts, TOP1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,479 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TOP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CSE1L, PLSCR4, and CNRIP1. Each is linked with TOP1 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TOP1-to-partner and partner-to-TOP1 results are reported.
