Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TONSL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TONSL data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher TONSL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TONSL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
PAAD, LGG, and KICH are the cancer types where TONSL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
