Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOMM34 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOMM34 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher TOMM34 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOMM34 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where TOMM34 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
