Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOMM20 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOMM20 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher TOMM20 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOMM20 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA are the cancer types where TOMM20 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
