Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNPO1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TNPO1 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher TNPO1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNPO1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.
UVM, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where TNPO1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
