Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNPO1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNPO1 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher TNPO1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNPO1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UVM, UCEC, and PAAD are the cancer types where TNPO1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
