Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFSF10 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TNFSF10 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TNFSF10 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFSF10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and KIRC show a favorable association.

SKCM, KIRC, and PAAD are the cancer types where TNFSF10 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
