Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFRSF9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNFRSF9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TNFRSF9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFRSF9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where TNFRSF9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
