Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TNFRSF10B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TNFRSF10B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher TNFRSF10B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TNFRSF10B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRP, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TNFRSF10B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
