Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMUB2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMUB2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TMUB2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMUB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, UCEC, and KIRP are the cancer types where TMUB2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
