Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMSB15A RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMSB15A data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher TMSB15A RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMSB15A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.

STAD, ACC, and KICH are the cancer types where TMSB15A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
