Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMPRSS6 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 9,558 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMPRSS6-associated proteins across cancer lineages are CERS2, GMDS_S14, and ARFGEF1. Each is linked with TMPRSS6 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMPRSS6-to-partner and partner-to-TMPRSS6 results are reported.
