TMPRSS5

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMPRSS5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 444 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMPRSS5-associated genes across cancer lineages are CRYGA, CDRT15P2, and RNU2-62P. Each is linked with TMPRSS5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMPRSS5-to-partner and partner-to-TMPRSS5 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, CRYGA grouped by TMPRSS5-low versus TMPRSS5-high in BRCA.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMPRSS5→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMPRSS5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
