Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMPRSS11F RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMPRSS11F data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TMPRSS11F RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMPRSS11F expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and CESC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUAD, and KICH are the cancer types where TMPRSS11F RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
