Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMOD4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMOD4 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher TMOD4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMOD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and SCLC show a favorable association.

MESO, BLCA, and CHOL are the cancer types where TMOD4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
