Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMOD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMOD4 data layer compared with 9 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMOD4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMOD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where TMOD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
