Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMOD3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMOD3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TMOD3 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMOD3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where TMOD3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
