Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMOD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMOD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TMOD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMOD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUAD, and LGG are the cancer types where TMOD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
