Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMIE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMIE data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMIE Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMIE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where TMIE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
