Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM97 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM97 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher TMEM97 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM97 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TMEM97 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
