Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM71 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,599 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM71-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZNF280B, UHRF1, and RNA5SP412. Each is linked with TMEM71 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM71-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM71 results are reported.
